Alere eScreen receives approval from DOT to electronically process drug tests
As an Alere eScreen partner, Certiphi Screening will soon be able to conduct DOT-regulated drug tests using the newly-approved electronic custody and control forms (eCCFs) through the Alere eScreen platform at over 3,000 sites nationwide.
Previously, DOT-regulated drug tests required the use of a less expedient five-part paper form that was used to collect urine specimens and track handling at collection sites. The paperless procedure will provide Certiphi Screening clients with a less labor-intensive method that provides end-to-end tracking of the entire drug screening process.
