Certiphi Screening's associate general counsel earns Essentials of Records and Information Management (RIM) certificate
Sadeq Khan, Certiphi Screening’s associate general counsel/director of compliance, was recently granted this sought-after certification from the Association of Records Managers & Administrators International (ARMA).
ARMA International’s Essentials of RIM Certificate program consists of 10 online courses that focus on the best practices in today’s most important functional areas in RIM, such as managing electronic records, performing legally defensible e-discovery, developing a business continuity plan, reducing threats to privacy, and much more. To achieve the certificate, Sadeq successfully completed the required training program and obtained a passing score on each of the 10 course exams and the final exam.
Sadeq will leverage the skills learned in this certificate program to further support both his personal skillset and Certiphi Screening’s compliance program working to identify and define common and vital records and their place in a risk management program and distinguishing between events-based and requirements-based risk management methodologies. These skills will allow Sadeq to further ensure effective management of our company’s information and ultimately serve as a strategic component for further success.
